Thermistors
Thermistors are widely used as inrush current limiters, temperature sensors, self-resetting over current protectors, and self-regulating heating elements. H&b offers two main types of Thermistor, Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) and Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC). The Thermistor is a thermally sensitive resistor that exhibits change in its electrical resistance with a change in its temperature and can be encapsulated within a stainless steel tube or other suitable housing for protection against the medium being measured.
