H&b Sensors manufacture Threaded Thermowells in accordance with our ISO 9001:2008 certified management system to exact customer specification ensuring the Thermowell meets the application requirements and process conditions.

Threaded Thermowells can be manufactured from barstock or fabricated from pipe, both of which are available in a wide range of materials including 316 Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Titanium, Inconel® 600, Monel® 400, Hastelloy® C276, Hastelloy® C22 and PTFE.

Threaded Thermowells are available with a range of different process threads including BSPP, BSPT and NPT connections. Depending upon the construction a number of different stem profiles are available including parrallel, tapered and stepped configurations.

In addition a variety of protective sheaths and coatings are available to protect against corrosive and high temperature processes including FEP, PTFE, tantalum, tungsten carbide and stellite®.

Depending upon your Thermowell selection a variety of different documentation and testing is available including: wake frequency calculations (Murdock or ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2010), positive material identification (PMI), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), oxygen cleaning and ultrasonic testing.

As standard all Thermowells come complete with a 3.1 material certificate and include either a internal pressure test or leak test.
