Exd Level Float Switches

H&b Sensors are licensed to manufacture explosion proof ATEX Exd Level Float Switches suitable for both high and low liquid level measurement. Level Float Swicthes are efficient level detectors, simple to install, and designed for trouble free operation over long periods of time.

Using our Type 50 series Exd explosion proof connection head and flame path collar, H&b Sensors manufacture Exd Level Float Switch assemblies to exact customer requirements. The Exd Type 50 series range of housings are all rated to IP68 and are available in Aluminium or 316 Stainless Steel with an option of either M20 x 1.5 or 1/2" NPT cable entries.

Depending upon your level measurement and process requirements there are a number of options available including number of floats, float style, immersion length, threaded or flanged process connections, incorporation of temperature sensor (PRT or thermocouple) or temperature switch.

Exd hazardous area equipment must always be installed and maintained by a qualified engineer familiar with the relevant requirements for installation of equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres.
